Filming in progress in Milan for Sky Italia's new series Impero dedicated to the football Italian world.
The drama (8 episodes) is produced by Luca Barbareschi (Eliseo Entertainment) with Sky Studios tells the story of Corso Manni a football manager specialized in recruiting players, who fell out after being arrested over a scandal about illegal betting.
This ends up damaging his relationship with his father and also his marriage to Elena Di Gregorio, daughter of Dino De Gregorio, the boss of Italy's most powerful football agency against whom Corso is considering revenge. A revenge that threatens to shake the world of Italian football.
The series created by Tommaso Capolicchio, Giacomo Durzi, Filippo Kalomenidis, Marcello Olivieri is based on the original idea of Alessandro Roja with Riccardo Grandi.
Casting: Francesco Montanari (Il Cacciatore, I Medici), Elena Radonicich (1992, La Porta Rossa), Giancarlo Giannini (Casino Royale, Il Cuore Altrove).
The series will be available on all Sky Platforms and it's distributed by NBCUniversal Global Distribution.
