Mediaset Infinity, the innovative Mediaset Group’s digital platform, acquired exclusive rights in Italy for the award-winning Canadian sit-com Schitt's Creek.
The series is available on Infinity+, channel of Mediaset Infinity platform.
Following a deal with ITV Studios, which distributes the series globally, Infinity+ has launched exclusively in Italy the worldwide critically and audience acclaimed comedy series.
Schitt’s Creek has received many awards, including two Golden Globes for Best Comedy Series and Best Television Actress in a Comedy Series to Catherine O'Hara in 2021. At the 72nd edition of Primetime Emmy Awards, Schitt's Creek won seven comedy categories - including Outstanding Comedy Series - and set a new record by becoming the first comedy to win all four main acting awards in a single year: Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Dan Levy and Annie Murphy.
Newly born, Mediaset Infinity platform is a single web environment that provides free viewing of the best of Mediaset programs and a selection of high-quality on-demand contents. Its channel Infinity+ is a reference point in offering the best movies and Italian and international TV series, as well as the broadcasting of UEFA Champions League matches for the next three years.
Furthermore, on Mediaset Infinity, users will also have access to an optional offer: a number of famous channels specialized in TV series, sports, documentaries and contents for kids.

The 6 season series Schitt's Creek is focused on the Rose family: video store magnate Johnny, soap opera actress Moira and their two adult children David and Alexis. Losing their fortune after being defrauded by their business manager, the Roses rebuild their lives with their only remaining asset: a small town called Schitt's Creek that Johnny bought for David as a joke birthday gift.
