Turkish drama Hamlet selected at Series Mania
Hamlet, an impressive production by Turkey’s new generation content platform GAIN and the first drama written and directed by award-winning director Kaan Müjdeci, is distinguished as the first and sole project to be selected from Turkey for Series Mania’s International Competition. Intertwined with a real life story, this adaptation of Shakespeare’s immortal work by Müjdeci sets light to seemingly unbelievable, absurd and striking reality of life and Turkey based on the story of a “phaeton kingdom” in Büyükada, Istanbul.
