The series in 12 episodes of 50' is produced by Massimo Del Frate for Banijay Italy in coproduction with Rai Fiction and it's based on the Spanish scripted format Merli broadcast by TV3 in Cataluna. Created by Héctor Lozano and produced by Veranda has been adapted also in France.
It's a story of a peculiar professor of philosophy (Alessandro Gassmann) who after all his travels over the world, return to a boarding school in Rome to teach.
