The six episodes series is focused on relationships, betrayals and family drama, based on the bestseller by writer Marco Missiroli, winner of the Prize "Premio Strega" in 2019.

"Adapting a book is always a challenge- said Alessandro Fabbri - I try to understand the core of the novel, its deepest theme. In the case of Fidelity the theme was clear and very interesting: to whom should we be faithful, to ourselves or to others? This the main question that the writer Marco Missiroli throw to me. Being faithful to Fidelity, for me and my co-authors Laura Colella and Elisa Amoruso, means continuing to ask ourselves about that question and making it live in the soul of the characters. My point was to respect the book's writer but at the same time to adapt and create the essence of the story".
Produced by Bibi Film (Angelo Barbagallo) for Netflix Original with Matilde Barbagallo as executive producer, the writing team includes: writer-director Elisa Amoruso (“Chiara Ferragni Unposted”), Alessandro Fabbri (“The Trial”) and Laura Colella.
