Disney + managed to get her hands on the TV adaptation of one of the most fascinating family sagas in contemporary literature, The Lions of Sicily written by Stefania Auci. The streaming video service has announced that it has officially started production of one new original Italian series based on the successful and appreciated novel published in 2019. Filming, which began these days in Rome, will take place between the capital and Sicily and involve – among others – the director Paolo Genovese and the leading actors Miriam Leone And Michele Riondino.
