Reality experiment Couples Therapy will be adapted in New Zealand. This is the third international local adaptation after the first edition in Israel on KAN, now in its second season, and the Australian series launched on Paramount+ in July 2022.
The format was also optioned in Italy and other countries including the U.K., Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, France.
The 10-part New Zealand series will be produced by Warner Bros. International Television Production NZ for Warner Bros. Discovery’s BVOD platform ThreeNow and linear channel Three.
In the U.S. the series is broacast by Showtime and is hosted by psychoanalyst Dr. Orna Guralnik as she guides couples through real-life therapy sessions.
The format is distributed by Paramount.
