Rai 1 broadcast the miniseries Il Nostro Generale on Monday, January 9 2023 in prime time. The series in 4 episodes is produced by Stand By Me (Asacha Media) and Rai Fiction. The story is based on true events occured in 1970s when General Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa, played by Sergio Castellitto, who created a special anti-terrostist Unit was sent to Sicily to stop the mafia organization. The General Dalla Chiesa was killed in 1982 with his wife.

The series is directed by Lucio Pellegrini and Andrea Jublin, written by Monica Zapelli and Peppe Fiore.

The cast includes Sergio Castellitto (as Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa), Ninni Bruschetta and Enrico Lo Verso, Antonio Folletto, Flavio Furno, Claudia Marchiori.
