Minerva Pictures releases on theater Terezin, a film produced by Santo Versace and Gianluca Curti on January 26, Day of the Memory.
The film directed by Gabriele Guidi, starring Mauro Conte, Dominika Zeleníková, Alessio Boni, Cesare Bocci, Antonia Liskova is produced by Minerva Pictures with Rai Cinema and with Three Brothers and Ovepossible with the patronage of the
Italian Jewish Communities.
The movie recounts a previously unseen side of life lived by Jewish deportees in the early 1940s inside the Theresienstadt detention camp, known as the Terezin ghetto. Among them mostly artists and creative people , many composers, painters, poets, sculptors, writers: the heart and soul of Central European culture in those years. The story, which focuses on clarinetist Antonio and a group of musicians, depicts the power of art in extreme situations, telling how man is profoundly capable of denying himself and at the same time, thanks precisely to art, able to perform absolute wonders.
