The Sky Original supernatural – crime drama series
Christian is returning with a second season, which will air on March
24 on Sky and will be available to stream on NOW. The new installment will
be composed of six episodes.
Produced by Sky Studios and Lucky Red
in collaboration with Newen Connect, the series revolves around Christian,
who makes a living as a henchman for a gang boss in the Roman suburbs. But his
life is destined to change forever when he starts to feel severe pain in his
hands, which ultimately start to bleed until stigmata appear on them. In this
second season, our anti-hero begins to accept his gift and build a new Kingdom,
becoming a guide for an entire community, making choices that will affect the
lives of all.
Directed and produced by Stefano Lodovichi, the
series is written by Valerio Cilio, Patrizia Dellea, Stefano Lodovichi,
Valentina Piersanti, Francesco Agostini, and Giulio Calvani.
Edoardo Pesce stars as the main character, Christian, while Claudio
Santamaria plays Matteo, another key role in this season. Silvia D’amico,
Antonio Bannò, Francesco Colella, Gabriel Montesi, Romana Maggiora Vergano,
Giulio Beranek, Ivan Franek, Laura Morante and Camilla Filippi round out this
installment’s cast.
