El Hotel De Los Lios is the spin-off of the successful Spanish blockbuster García y García - that was at the top 10 of the Spanish cinema box office in 2021. It's a family comedy directed by Ana Murugarren and starring two of the biggest names in Spanish comedy: José Mota and Pepe Viyuela, the García of the first movie. After taking charge of a small dilapidated hotel, mistakenly purchased at an auction for an exorbitant price, the two protagonists go on a new adventure, helped this time, much to their regret, by a gang of child scientists. Together with their explosive teacher, the children will confront the mobster Benito Camarena, who with his henchmen will try to snatch the loot hidden in the hotel from the Garcias.
Produced by Joaquín Trincado and written by Ana Murugarren and Ana Galán, the cast is rounded out by Paz Padilla, Diego Arroba 'El Cejas,' Ricardo Castella, Antonio Resines, Italian actress Meteora Fontana, and youngsters Carla Chiorazzo, Carlos Morollón, Daniela Casas, David Calderón, and Pablo Fernández, a deaf child who enriches the film through the sign language with which he communicates with the other characters.
