ZED signs a major deal with PBS to broadcast two documentaries
Two history documentaries from leading French producer and distributor ZED will soon be broadcast on PBS.
This agreement covers the pre-purchase of two premium films for PBS' Secrets of the Dead series:

1. IZNIK, THE SUNKEN ENIGMA - 55' 4K
Directed by Pascal Guérin and co-produced by Les Batelières Productions and Scope Pictures, this film is an unprecedented historic and scientific investigation to unravel the mysteries of a 4th-century basilica’s sunken remains, found in 2014 in Lake Iznik (Turkey). Produced for France Télévisions, the film has also been pre-sold to SBS, Viasat, FTV Prima and ORF.


2. EIFFEL: TOWERS’ WAR - 55’ 4K
Directed by Savin Yeatman-Eiffel and Mathieu Schwartz and produced by ZED, this docudrama recounts the icredible engineering and architectural challenge that gave birth to the iconic Eiffel Tower, to mark the centenary of Gustave Eiffel's death. Produced for ARTE France, the film has also been pre-sold to TV5 Québec, RTBF, TV5 Monde and Telefónica.

By signing this major deal, ZED strenghens its foothold in the United States and pursues its international expansion, through a growing number of co-productions.
