The final deadline for entries to the NEM Awards 2024, which celebrates the best TV content from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), is October 24. The competition is open for the Best Finished TV Series in the CEE Award category, recognizing fully produced series from the region. Last year, Warner Bros. Discovery won with Spy/Master. Various companies, including BH Telecom, Czech Television, and TVN Warner Bros. Discovery, are competing for this year's title.
The awards ceremony will take place at NEM Zagreb 2024 from December 10-12, where the winners of other categories like the Best Pre-development Project Award will also be announced. The competition aims to promote the audiovisual industry in the CEE region, offering finalists the chance to present their projects and network with TV industry leaders. The winner will receive a prize, including a visit to Series Mania. The jury is composed of experts from non-competing countries, including figures from France TV and Universal International Studios.
NEM Zagreb focuses on fostering new collaborations and advancing the TV industry in the CEE region, while promoting co-productions and investments in CEE content by global streamers.
