Conecta Fiction & Entertainment has announced that its ninth edition will take place in Cuenca, Spain, from June 16 to 19, 2025.
This marks a continuation of the event's presence in the Castilla-La Mancha region, following three successful editions in Toledo. The announcement was made by Patricia Franco, the regional Minister of Economy, Businesses, and Employment.
Conecta Fiction & Entertainment serves as a professional hub for the audiovisual and entertainment sectors, fostering co-production opportunities between Europe and the Americas. The 2024 edition in Toledo attracted over 1,000 industry professionals from 33 countries, facilitating more than 3,500 in-person meetings and featuring a comprehensive program of panels, keynotes, pitching sessions, workshops, and networking events.
The selection of Cuenca as the host city for the 2025 edition underscores the event's commitment to engaging with diverse locales within the Castilla-La Mancha region, promoting the area's cultural and historical significance.
