The romcom was produced by Gold Film, which is one of the top producers in Turkey and has a proven record with previous series such as “Daydreamer”, “Iffet”, “Dila” and “Never Let Go”.
Daydreamer has been one of the biggest Turkish drama hits in the world, not only in our catalog but in the industry. There are few titles that succeed in being an instant success wherever they are shown, and Daydreamer has been one of them. After the huge success of Daydreamer, all our clients were requesting titles in the rom-com genre, especially from the same producer and the same cast. So, thanks to the amazing track record of Daydreamer, Mr. Wrong was a perfect choice for the broadcasters. Gold Film is behind the success of these two dramas.
It has exceeded our expectations and became our fastest selling drama in the last five years.

The scriptwriters of Mr. Wrong, Aslı Zengin and Banu Zengin, have an impressive track record of creating highly successful romantic comedies, including Daydreamer, When a Man Loves, and Butterflies. With their deep understanding of the genre, they and their team consistently deliver stories that resonate with audiences, crafting engaging narratives that meet viewers’ expectations for romcoms.
