Satisfaction Iberia Announces Team Reorganization Following Daniel Domenjó's Appointment as Movistar Plus+ CEO

Satisfaction Iberia has announced a strategic reorganization of its team in response to the departure of its co-founder and CEO, Daniel Domenjó, who has been appointed as the new CEO of Movistar Plus+. Domenjó, renowned for his entrepreneurial vision and extensive industry expertise, has accumulated 25 years of experience in the audiovisual sector, leading the creation and expansion of multiple television production companies, including two of the fastest-growing production houses in Spain in recent years.

Since co-founding Satisfaction Iberia, a production company specializing in scripted and unscripted content in collaboration with the leading French television group Satisfaction Group, Domenjó has played a pivotal role in its rapid success. In less than a year, the company has delivered major prime-time formats for TVE and RTP, including La Conexión and The Floor, with additional projects currently in pre-production.

Prior to founding Satisfaction Iberia, Domenjó held a key leadership position as Executive Director at Mediacrest Entertainment for five years. During this period, he spearheaded the company's growth and oversaw the production of numerous hit shows, such as El Cazador (The Chase) and Las Noches de los Cazadores (Beat the Chasers) for TVE, the first season of The Floor for A3, as well as documentaries like The Sleeper (soon to be released in cinemas) and Inside Guggenheim (Movistar Plus+ and EiTB). His expertise extended to scripted content, including Asuntos Internos (TVE), and factual series like Crónicas del Zoo (Discovery, ApuntTV) and Mapi (TVE).

Throughout his career, Domenjó has collaborated with leading production companies in Spain and Portugal and has developed extensive experience in forging international partnerships, co-productions, and co-developments with major global players such as Talpa, Paramount, and Britain's ITV. His active participation in global content markets and events, including the Berlinale, MipTV, Natpe, MipCancún, London Content, and Content Americas, has cemented his reputation as an industry leader.

Domenjó holds a degree in Journalism and German Language Studies, a Postgraduate Degree in Editorial Practices, and has completed an Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School. Beyond his television career, he has also provided strategic and communications consulting to multinational corporations such as Danone, Agbar (Suez Group), and Novartis.

In addition to his work behind the scenes, Domenjó has an extensive background in television journalism and presenting, with over 2,500 hours of live broadcasting. He has contributed to notable programs such as El Debate de la 2 (TVE), Teleobjetivo (TVE), La Lista (TVE), Está Pasando (Tele5), El Debate de Supervivientes (Tele5), and La Caja Fuerte (Telemadrid).

As Satisfaction Iberia undergoes this transition, the company extends its sincere gratitude to Daniel Domenjó for his invaluable leadership and contributions. The entire team wishes him continued success in his new role at Movistar Plus+ and looks forward to the next chapter of growth and innovation for Satisfaction Iberia.
