Banijay Group has revealed its financial results for 2024, reporting that Banijay Entertainment exceeded €3.3 billion in revenue, closing the year with an adjusted EBITDA margin of 15.8%. The announcement was made by Marco Bassetti, CEO of Banijay Entertainment: "In 2024, Banijay Entertainment, including Banijay Live, continued to demonstrate its strength and market leadership in what has widely been recognized as a challenging market environment".
Over the past year, the company has cemented its position as the largest scripted content studio in Europe while maintaining its long-standing leadership in unscripted content. With more than 250 unscripted launches in 2024, Banijay has also expanded its multilingual content activities and strengthened its partnerships with streaming platforms, delivering 80 scripted and unscripted launches. The company remains committed to producing high-quality, award-winning programming across all categories.
Bassetti also said:"In another significant development, our pioneering entrepreneurial spirit took center stage when we finalized an agreement with Base and AWS to launch a market-leading content hub leveraging the latest in artificial intelligence and cloud technologies" .
