Renowned Hollywood actress and Israeli TV star, Ayelet Zurer takes center stage as a breast oncologist sharing her own cancer treatment journey with a male politician. Co-created by Rona Tamir, Tal Granit, and Sharon Maymon, The Best Worst Thing (8x60’) is set to captivate audiences. Produced by Spiro Films, the series is scheduled to premiere on Keshet 12, Israel’s leading TV channel, starting February 19, 2024, followed by its official international launch this spring at MIPTV by Keshet International.
On the fateful day that leading breast cancer specialist Dr. Amalia Levi (Ayelet Zurer) discovers a suspicious lump on her own chest, she also diagnoses the life-changing disease in ambitious politician Micha Hadad (Amos Tamam).
