Keshet International has successfully concluded numerous sales transactions for Israel’s top-rated drama of 2023, A Body That Works (Goof Shlishi), produced by Kuma Studios. This acclaimed relationship drama, featuring Rotem Sela (The Baker and the Beauty) and Yehuda Levi (Fire Dance) as a childless couple seeking the assistance of a surrogate, Gal Malka, sparked a national discourse in Israel on topics such as fertility, family dynamics, and women's bodily autonomy.

Created by Shira Hadad and Dror Mishani, in collaboration with director Shay Capon, A Body That Works defied decades of viewing trends, amassing viewership throughout its eight-episode run. With a consolidated rating of 22.5% TVR, it firmly secured its position as Israel’s top-rated drama in 2023. The series also received critical acclaim and was showcased in competition at Series Mania 2023, where Rotem Sela and Gal Malka both earned Best Actress honors.

In a groundbreaking deal, KI finalized an agreement with global streaming giant Netflix, securing exclusive streaming rights for A Body That Works in Europe, Latin America, and the US, alongside non-exclusive rights in Israel. Further expanding its reach, KI inked a licensing deal with AMC Networks International, ensuring the drama's exclusive premieres in Portugal and Spain on SundanceTV and AMC channels, respectively.

KI extended its global reach by licensing A Body That Works to CBC in Canada for its streaming platform CBC Gem, and to SBS in Australia, with additional deals closed in 19 other territories. As the first of eight scripted titles in Keshet Broadcasting’s latest drama slate for Keshet 12, A Body That Works is currently undergoing development for the UK and global markets by Keshet UK, with discussions underway for potential adaptations in various territories.

KI's ongoing drama lineup from Israel includes Spiro Films’ romantic drama The Best Worst Thing, set to premiere on Keshet 12 on 18 February 2024; Shenhar Productions’ highly anticipated thriller Trust No One (9x60’), recently acquired by Netflix; and Koda Communications’ second season of the crime drama Line in the Sand (8x60’).
