The acclaimed SkyShowtime Original Series "Codename: Annika" centers around Emma Haka, portrayed by the talented actress Sannah Nedergård, a Finnish investigator specializing in art crime. During an undercover operation at an art auction in Stockholm, Emma finds herself thrust into a perilous situation, prompting her to adopt the audacious alias of Annika Stormare. As the investigation delves deeper into the criminal underworld, the boundaries between Emma and Annika blur, unveiling a complex web of mysteries left behind by the enigmatic Annika.

"Codename: Annika" offers a refreshing take on the crime genre. Created by Mia Ylönen and Aleksi Bardy, and produced by Helsinki Filmi, this six-part series offers an intriguing glimpse into the clandestine realm of high-stakes art fraud, exploring the complexities of maintaining a dual identity.

The storyline centers on Emma, a Finnish art fraud investigator, who assumes the identity of Annika to infiltrate a Stockholm auction house and probe its ties to a notorious money launderer known as Blanko. Embracing the persona of Annika, a reckless socialite drawn to extravagant parties, substances, and thrill-seeking, forces Emma to confront her past traumas.

"Codename: Annika" offers six riveting episodes, each spanning 52 minutes, within the thrilling genre of psychological drama. The series boasts a stellar cast including Sannah Nedergård, Ardalan Esmaili, and Eva Melander, and is produced by Helsinki Filmi for SkyShowtime, with its debut in 2023.
