Banijay proudly announces NL Film, a Banijay Benelux subsidiary, has forged a partnership with Searchers and Prime Video to distribute their latest cinematic gem, Full Moon. This groundbreaking Dutch film, entirely shot in Thailand, will grace local theaters in 2025 and also stream on Prime Video.
Directed by David Cocheret (known for De Slet van 6VWO and SpangaS) and penned by Brian De Vore (renowned for SpangaS, Misfit: The Series, and Costa!! de serie), Full Moon takes audiences on a gripping journey with four thirtysomething friends embarking on a holiday of revelry and exploration in Thailand. However, when the aftermath of a wild 'Full Moon Party' reveals the body of a young woman, the vacation takes a sinister turn as the quartet find themselves thrust into a nightmarish ordeal, facing suspicion as prime suspects.
Under the skilled direction of David Cocheret, the film features stellar performances by Yannick Jozefzoon (Femi, Santos), Kay Greidanus (Net als in de film, Commando’s), Matthijs van de Sande Bakhuyzen (De Stamhouder, Billy the Kid), and Joep Paddenburg (Jippie No More!, Tegendraads). Full Moon is a production of NL Film, made possible by the Netherlands Film Production Incentive, Searchers, and Prime Video, currently undergoing post-production and slated for a 2025 release in Dutch cinemas.
