I Kissed a Boy got a new commission in UK
Pop icon Dannii Minogue will return to host the UK's first gay dating show, I Kissed A Boy, which is coming back for a second season on BBC Three and iPlayer. Produced by Twofour, the show pairs up ten singles who meet for the first time with a kiss to immediately test their chemistry.
Following the success of its debut season and the subsequent hit I Kissed a Girl. The launch episode smashed BBC Three’s consolidated slot average by 290% in volume and 380% in share for 16-24s and was up on the channel slot average for everyone, by an impressive 103% in volume and 109% in share.

The show celebrates queer love and features a lively soundtrack of gay anthems, aiming to entertain and reflect LGBTQ+ experiences. The first season was widely praised, winning accolades such as Screen Moment Of The Year at the Pink News Awards and Best Multichannel Programme at the Broadcast Awards. The new season will continue this tradition, with casting currently underway and transmission details to be announced soon.
