Banijay Live unveils Banijay Live Studio, an all- new label dedicated to the creation and production of out-of-home entertainment experiences. Capitalising on Banijay Entertainment’s global reputation for first-class production, the move will bolster the burgeoning entity’s immersive events and experiences reputation.
Outside-the-home activities are on the rise… According to Aviseo, the market is projected to grow by an average 7% per year until 2027. Tapping into this trend, Banijay Live Studio will look to build a portfolio of brand-new, innovative experiences designed to connect – whether it be family, friends or colleagues. From immersive exhibitions and life-sized action games to virtual reality journeys and video-projected experiences, each original themed offering will be aimed at broad audiences.
The new unit will be led by newly appointed Senior Producer, Tristan Desplechin, under the leadership of Banijay Live’s CEO, François de Brugada. A seasoned entrepreneur and pioneer in the field, the producer brings 15 years of cross-sector experience, having gained recognition for creating France’s first immersive cinema in 2020.
With original curation central to the new unit’s remit, it will benefit from having full access to Banijay Entertainment’s sprawling catalogue of iconic IP for inspiration. Tapping into the content powerhouse’s expertise, as well as that of Balich Wonder Studio, and recently acquired LOTCHI, Banijay Live Studio will also collaborate with a network of carefully selected creative agencies and independent talent.
Replicating the traditional IP model, Banijay Live Studio will nurture local experiences, with the view to international roll-out. Having already worked up an initial slate of ideas, the label’s first project will be a virtual reality experience centred around Banijay-Entertainment-owned Black Mirror.

The news follows Banijay Live’s recent acquisition of LOTCHI, a specialist in immersive live experiences and creator of LUMINISCENCE.
