Inspired by Due sirene in un bicchiere by Federica Brunini, the show blends drama, mystery, and emotional depth, set against the stunning backdrop of Italy’s Elba Island.
The story follows Anna Reali (Anna Valle) and Tamara Valente (Irene Ferri), two childhood friends whose lives were shattered by a violent assault on a yacht in 2004. Twenty years later, Anna, now an airline pilot, is drawn back to the island when Tamara, who runs a therapeutic B&B, calls her with a chilling message: “HE is here.” Tamara has captured one of their attackers, Marco Zan, seeking justice. But when Anna arrives, Zan is found dead with a gunshot wound, making Tamara the prime suspect.
Leading the murder investigation is Commissioner Luca Bonnard (Giorgio Marchesi), a man with his own history tied to Anna. As their relationship grows, so does the tension between duty and desire. With secrets, betrayals, and shocking revelations, Anna must uncover the truth while protecting Tamara and her daughter Mia—who is unknowingly connected to the dark past.
