Danny Fisher, CEO of FilmRise announced the promotion of Emilia Nuccio to SVP, International Content Sales & Distribution.

In her new position, Emilia will take on additional responsibilities related to the distribution of content to streaming platforms and broadcasters globally. She will continue to focus on global linear and digital media content acquisition and distribution, establishing new partnerships worldwide and nurturing those already established.

This promotion represents our impressive rapid multi-platform expansion in the international marketplace on widely used connected devices and platforms, our dominance and continued growth in FAST and our overall growth in free streaming space.”

Emilia joined the company in early 2022 as Vice President of International Sales. She oversaw all international deals and was responsible for selling the FilmRise catalog, new releases, and co-productions in the global marketplace.

Emilia has spent most of her career as a leader in the domestic and international sales and digital distribution arena focusing on acquisitions, licensing and merchandising. Past positions include SVP of sales at Dynamic Television; president of international sales at Echo Bridge for two years following four years as their SVP; president of international program and licensing sales at Itsy Bitsy Entertainment Co.; VP of Latin American sales at BBC Worldwide Americas; and international director of sales at Televisa. In 2001 she founded her own company, Enoro Media, and she continues to serve on the board of directors of the Worldwide Audiovisual Women’s Association.

Emilia Nuccio will continue to report directly to Melissa Wohl, EVP, Global Distribution Partnerships & Content Sales.
