Sony Pictures Television Brings 100 Choices to London TV Screenings
100 Choices made its debut in Japan in 2023, and now Sony Pictures Television (SPT) has acquired global distribution rights to the hit Japanese gameshow format from FANY Studio. The show will be officially launched at the upcoming London TV Screenings.

A family-friendly comedy format, 100 Choices challenges contestants with a single question—but offers 100 possible answers. To win a substantial cash prize, they must eliminate incorrect choices by completing five physical challenges, testing their intelligence, strength, and teamwork.

Originally developed by Tokyo-based FANY Studio, 100 Choices was showcased at the Asia TV Forum & Market in 2023 before catching SPT’s attention. Its pilot episode aired on BS Yoshimoto in October 2023.

SPT will oversee the format’s international rollout, with its regional production companies adapting the show in key markets: Stellify (UK), B17 Entertainment (US), Curio (Australia), Teleset (Mexico), and Floresta (Brazil).

Laura St. Clair, SPT’s senior VP of international formats, highlighted the show's versatility, stating: “We love the strength of the central format premise, which makes it suitable for both weekend primetime studio settings and location-based shoots.”

Mari Kawamura, head of global business at FANY Studio, added: “100 Choices was originally the first episode in the World Homerun Factory series on BS Yoshimoto. This format embodies the very essence of our mission—to create global formats with adaptability and universal appeal.”

SPT’s 100 Choices will be part of the Sony Pictures London Showcase 2025 on February 27, offering exclusive previews of the company’s upcoming non-scripted formats and scripted dramas at the London TV Screenings.
