Additionally, BBC Studios has signed a partnership with Swedish national public broadcaster Sveriges Television AB (SVT) for Our Dementia Choir, a groundbreaking format from Curve Media. Production is scheduled to begin in August 2025.

The series features real-life stories of supernatural encounters, told by those who experienced them. With the help of historians, scientists, and paranormal experts, the host explores possible explanations, blending fact and mystery.
A social experiment with a profound impact, Our Dementia Choir demonstrates the transformative power of music in the fight against dementia. A well-known personality joins forces with medical professionals, music therapists, and performers to explore how music can stimulate the brain. The show follows a choir made up of people living with dementia as they share their stories and prepare for an emotional final performance.

In addition to these new deals, Head of Scripted Sweden, Mikael Hansson, confirmed the renewal of the hit youth and children’s fiction series Klassen (First Years internationally), along with a new youth fiction series exploring artificial intelligence, Leah’s Magical Spectacles.
