FLORENCE
The project (4 episodes of 90’ produced and distributed by ArcobalenoTre) written by Sergio Rubino and Matteo Renzi was conceived because in Florence the former Prime Minister was born and raised. The city has inspired his civil passion, such a profound sentiment which led him to become the Mayor of the city. He always came back to Florence as Prime Minister to host the earth’s major powers and show them the uniqueness of this culture, because he knows every breath, every corner and every story of his beloved city.
Florence, a unique breeding ground for art, science and culture.

The mysterious rooms in Palazzo Vecchio, the magic of the Uffizi Gallery, The Vasari Corridor,
Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens; moreover, the evocative Duomo at night with the Baptistery, Palazzo Medici Riccardi, San Lorenzo and San Marco, indelible proof of the enlightened magnitude of the House of Medici, a family which had a long and powerful influence in European history.
And, the Florentine football in Livery, the evidence of the soul and the character of the city, Teatro della Pergola, Basilica di Santa Croce and the dazzling beauty of its artworks which made Stendhal lose consciousness, the Basilica di San Miniato with its bell tower overlooking the city.
These and more magnificent places will guide the audience through a unique journey in the history of Florence and Matteo Renzi will be an enthusiastic narrator, passionate about the thousand stories that made Florence undisputed land of Beauty, mother of Michelangelo, Brunelleschi, Botticelli, Cellini, Giotto, Cimabue, Galileo, Amerigo Vespucci, Leonardo Da Vinci, Dante Alighieri and many more eternal artists.
