To coincide with MIPFormats 2019 in Cannes, TV France International and La Fabrique des Formats have just announced the winners of the fifth Format Awards. Originality, audaciousness and humor are clearly the distinctive signs of French creativity, and these are values which translate well to the international marketplace. We here at TV France International are delighted with these winners and continually strive to promote such talent throughout the world,” said Sarah Hemar, Executive Director of TV France International.

Philippe Chazal, CEO of La Fabrique des Formats said: “Since its creation in 2016, the main aim of La Fabrique des Formats is to promote the French Touch in all types of audiovisual format projects. The Format Export Award 2019: Facing the Classroom
The Format Awards Jury gave the Export Award to Facing the Classroom, a concept created by Caroline Delage (Au tableau Productions), produced in France by 416 Prod and distributed by Vivendi Entertainment. Launched during the French presidential election campaign in 2017, the format has evolved and now features celebrities, allowing it to reach beyond the electoral framework.
