Federation Kids Unveils New Slate at Le Rendez-vous, Led by 20 Dance Street
At Le Rendez-vous in Le Havre, Federation Kids & Family showcased its new slate of content, with a focus on their latest projects, headlined by 20 Dance Street. Speaking about the new lineup, Jéromine Ader de la Villardière, International Sales Manager of Federation Kids, confirmed that filming is set to begin soon for this highly anticipated series aimed at children aged 6-10.

20 Dance Street (26x30’) is a CG-animated ballet series, greenlit by major broadcasters ZDF (Germany) and France Télévisions, with an additional presale secured from Belgian broadcaster RTBF. The series is produced by Cottonwood Media, a Paris-based company renowned for its dance-centric tween shows, including Find Me in Paris and Spellbound, in partnership with the Opéra National de Paris.

The story follows Maya, an 11-year-old aspiring prima ballerina, who leaves her home in the Caribbean to begin her first year at the prestigious Paris Opera Ballet School. Though far from home, Maya is determined to succeed, facing the challenges of her new life with resilience. The project is based on Elizabeth Barféty’s French-language book series 20, allée de la Danse, which has sold more than 20 titles across Europe since 2016.

Alongside 20 Dance Street, Federation Kids is also rolling out Season 2  that follows Cece, who is determined to focus on her dance career after unlocking her Mystic powers. However, when she befriends a new student, Jade, another Mystic, magical chaos ensues. Ballet remains central to the plot, with Cece balancing dance and magic, all while navigating new friendships, a surprise return, and a hip-hop challenge.

Other titles include the live-action adventure Teodosia (52x26’) Season 2, and the popular preschool series Simon Super Rabbit (260x5’), now in its fifth season.
