Tokyo Broadcasting System Television (TBS) has announced the conclusion of remake option contracts for two of its hit series, Forget Love and Tower of Sand, with Turkish production company FABRİKA YAPIM, facilitated by HECE Medya. This agreement marks a significant step in bringing TBS’s successful scripted content to Turkey, a market known for its strong demand for long-running drama series.

Forget Love, directed by renowned filmmaker Yukihiko Tsutsumi and written by love romance expert Yukari Tatsui, tells the story of a cold-hearted but successful host and a blind young woman who has shut herself off emotionally due to a strained relationship with her father. Their gradual love story struck a chord with Japanese audiences, and the series has already seen success with adaptations in South Korea. This is the second option contract for Forget in Turkey, raising anticipation for a potential Turkish remake by FABRİKA YAPIM.

The second series, Tower of Sand, is a suspense drama centered on a housewife who moves into a high-rise apartment complex governed by its celebrity residents. Mysterious neighbors and a string of infant disappearances heighten the tension in this gripping story, penned by screenwriter Natsuko Ikeda. The series became a conversation starter in Japan due to its suspenseful and unpredictable plot twists.

FABRİKA YAPIM, established in 2015, has a proven track record of producing content that resonates with Turkish viewers.
