Munich-based Studio 100 Film will showcase two highly anticipated German animated films at the European Film Market (EFM) in Berlin this February: Conni and the Mystery of the Crane and Emmi & Unipig.
The beloved Conni franchise returns with its second feature film, based on the best-selling books by Liane Schneider and Eva Wenzel-Bürger. A mix of CGI and 2D animation, the film follows Conni and her cat on an adventure to help an injured crane join its migration. Produced by youngfilms and Senator Film Produktion, it is set for release in summer 2026, with Wild Bunch Germany handling theatrical distribution in German-speaking regions and Studio 100 Film managing international sales.
Emmi & Unipig, inspired by the bestselling book series by Anna Böhm, this 80-minute animated film tells the charming story of Emmi, who wishes for a unicorn but gets a Unipig instead. Learning about self-acceptance, friendship, and individuality, Emmi's adventure is directed by Stephan Wagner and co-produced by Carte Blanche Media, Little Dream Entertainment, and AMOUR FOU Filmproduktion. Studio 100 Film holds worldwide sales rights, excluding German-speaking territories.
Studio 100 Film will also present additional titles at EFM 2025, including Rally – From Paris to the Pyramids, Miss Moxy, North, and Heidi – Rescue of the Lynx.
Industry professionals can explore these projects at EFM (Marriott Hotel, 10th floor, offices 1050 & 1052).
