Amazon announced its free streaming service IMDb TV renamed Amazon Freevee, last April 27, has expandend the streaming service with new original programming by 70% in 2022, with spinoffs of shows such as Bosh: Legacy, new series and more original movies. The free streaming service greenlit a new cooking competition series called America’s Test Kitchen: The Next Generation, the coming-of-age drama Beyond Black Beauty, the family competition series Play-Doh Squished, and the music documentary Post Malone: Runaway. Freevee also picked up a second season of Bosch: Legacy and a third and fourth season of Uninterrupted'sTop Class: The Life and Times of the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers.
IMDb TV, part of the Amazon-owned movie and TV database IMDb, is an ad-supported library of TV shows, movies and channels. It launched under the name Freedive in 2019. The streaming service has grown rapidly over the past two years, tripling its monthly active users, Amazon said in the press release.
